Carol said,"Peta does not have shelters...what they do is bring attention to the world about the cruelties happening all over the world". Yes, Carol, I KNOW that. That's why I worded my comment like that...it was meant "tongue-in-cheek", since PeTA has never rescued a single animal, and the attention they raise, while it's supposed to be for the benefit of the animals they appear to be focusing on, is almost always a guise to get donations, which rarely go to benefiting those animals at all. There ARE documented cases of PeTA supposedly rescuing animals from kill-shelters or from places where they claimed they were going to re-home them (adopt them out) and instead, all the animals were immediately euthanized and dumped. PeTA's response (only after being caught) was that they "couldn't save 'em all". Well, they didn't save a single one!
